Prior to joining Segal Benz, Kaulen worked as a contractor with Segal Benz, partnering closely with Communications leadership to design and launch the practice’s AI business transformation strategy. Kaulen began her communications consulting career at Hewitt Associates (later Aon Hewitt), advising Fortune 500 clients on how to improve employee engagement and drive sustainable behavior change. She became a Partner at Aon Hewitt after launching a market-defining new insights and personalization solution that fueled significant, multi-year business growth for the business. When Aon Hewitt spun off to become Alight Solutions, an HR technology and services provider, Kaulen successfully led a team of creatives and engineers to envision and build the AI-driven campaign library at the heart of the firm’s new AI personalization engagement platform and product.
Kaulen earned a BA in English and Communication from Southwestern University (Georgetown, TX). She holds a Professional Certificate in Foresight (identifying trends and insights to guide strategic future planning, new business growth and innovation opportunities) from the University of Houston.
