As a member of the National Compliance Practice, Meghan provides technical expertise for Segal’s compliance staff, consultants and clients, on qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, health and welfare benefit plans, executive compensation arrangements and employee fringe benefits, in the multiemployer, public and corporate sectors.

Prior to joining Segal, Meghan served as in-house counsel for the retirement division of a major municipality, representing its defined contribution and defined benefit plans. Prior to that role, Ms. Horn was a law firm associate, representing multiemployer health and retirement plans. Before practicing law, she completed a clerkship with the Appellate Court of Maryland. She participates in a volunteer program providing tax planning services and preparing income tax returns.

Meghan graduated magna cum laude from Salisbury University, Salisbury, MD, with a BA in English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Writing. She received a JD from the College of William and Mary School of Law, Williamsburg, VA and an LLM in taxation from the University of Baltimore School of Law, Baltimore, MD. Meghan is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia and before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
