Tammy is a Vice President, Benefits Consultant, based in Segal’s Phoenix office. She has more than 30 years of experience as a consultant specializing in crafting and executing benefit strategies for mid- and large-market clients.

Prior to joining Segal, Tammy was a Senior Principal at Mercer, where she managed complex client engagements of more than $2.5 million in annual revenue, including evaluation, design, implementation and management of total rewards programs with emphasis on strategy and employee engagement for both fully insured and self-funded clients. In addition to contributing to business development efforts and speaking at industry events, Tammy managed and coached a team of consultants and account managers. Earlier in her career, she worked for Avnet as an in-house benefit consultant, as well as for Humana, Willis and Keenan and Associates.

Tammy earned a BS in Business Administration and Marketing from San Jose State University (San Jose, CA). She holds a Life and Health Insurance License and a Property and Casualty Insurance License from Arizona. She has a Global Benefits Management Certification from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans and a Change Management Certification from Prosci.
