He began his career as a Systems Engineer and Project Manager for HP (Electronic Data Systems) in 1994. He also served as a Senior Manager at Whirlpool Corporation Global Information Systems, as the Director of Innovation and Planning for Accident Fund Insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) and as an executive leader at the State of Michigan as the Director of Contracts and Planning and leading projects for the Michigan Office of Retirement Services (ORS).
Norm holds a BS from Michigan State University. He participated in the Executive Development Program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business and has performed Masters coursework through George Washington University.
Norm has been a certified Project Manager with the Project Management Institute since 1999. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP). He also has Six Sigma Certification, Computer Sciences Corporation.
