Michael is a Vice President and Senior Consultant in Segal's Administration & Technology Consulting (ATC) practice, affiliated with the New York office. He has nearly 30 years of experience in HR/benefits outsourcing and technology. Michael leads Segal’s ATC consulting for the corporate market where he addresses the technology, administration and operational needs of employers including corporations, nonprofits, associations and higher education institutions, among others.

Michael focuses on understanding his clients’ business challenges and objectives and producing meaningful outcomes. He delivers client value through strategy and delivery of HR technology and administration solutions.

Before joining Segal, Michael was an Account Executive with Alight Solutions, leading some of Alight’s largest corporate clients through technology and employee experience transformations. He served as a strategic advisor, representing all lines of business offered by Alight.

Prior to Alight, Michael spent 23 years working at various large HR/benefits consulting firms including Aon, Hewitt Associates and Towers Perrin. During this time, he managed many aspects of technology and delivery including system implementations, business process outsourcing, benefits administration, call center management, financial operations and performance standards adherence. His client portfolio spanned various industries including financial services, pharmaceuticals, utilities/energy, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing and media.

Michael earned a BA in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. He is certified in Executive Project Management and holds a Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.
