Eric is a Senior Vice President and East Region Health Practice Leader in Segal’s Washington, DC office with over 30 years of experience and knowledge in the employee benefits industry. He helps clients with a wide range of health plan needs, including consumer-directed healthcare strategies, vendor selection and cost management.

Prior to joining Segal, Eric was a Senior Vice President at Aon, where he led the Mid-Atlantic Public Sector Roundtable, a key thought leadership group for public sector organizations, and earlier, served as Aon’s Northeast Region Practice Leader. Before that, he worked for several carriers in sales, account management, marketing and product development roles. His most recent management position before joining Aon Hewitt was with one of the largest managed care organizations, where he was responsible for directing the sales, marketing and product development for group Medicare HMO products for large national employers.

Eric earned a BA in Economics from Davidson College and participated in Catalyst Leadership Development at the Kellogg School of Management, the Business School of Northwestern University.
