Bob is a Senior Vice President and Benefits Consultant in Segal’s Los Angeles office with over 20 years of experience working with employee benefits, group health insurance and retirement plans. He provides proactive consulting to his clients and is an expert in all aspects of the design, financing, compliance and communications of employee and retiree health and welfare benefits for public sector and Taft-Hartley clients. Bob became a member of Segal’s Public Sector Leadership Group in 2021.

With over 17 years of experience at Segal, Bob has substantial experience with all aspects and services of the organization. He was promoted to Vice President at Segal in 2015 and to Senior Vice President in 2023. Prior to joining Segal, Bob’s work experience includes underwriting group health insurance for companies of all sizes.

Bob received a BS from the University of Findlay, Ohio, with three independent majors in Finance, Marketing and Business Management and two minors in Economics and International Business. He completed the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) program from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Within the CEBS program, he obtained the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) and Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) certifications. Bob has also maintained his California Life Agent License since 2006.
