Jeanette is a Vice President, Senior Actuarial Developer in the Actuarial Technology and Systems (ATS) department, based in Segal’s Washington, DC office. She has more than 20 years of experience.

Through her combined expertise in programming and actuarial methodologies, Jeanette specializes in efficiently establishing new clients in STAR to most effectively capitalize on Segal's technological capabilities. She is an expert in STAR programming for open group liability forecasts and analysis of pension liability gain/loss and is highly sought after by the actuarial community at Segal due to her excellent communication skills and empathetic approach to stressful situations.

Jeanette is a member of Segal’s NEAT (New Employee Actuarial Training) Committee and collaborates closely with senior actuaries to ensure that ATS’ tools are clearly presented in the most helpful way for new actuaries. She recently helped to develop a new SCRUB module for NEAT. Ms. Scott-Marshall leads the ATS Liaison program which has been making great strides in enhancing service levels and has been very well received by the Actuarial Managers.

Before joining Segal’s Actuarial Technology and Systems department in New York in 2001, Jeanette worked at an actuarial software company and a national consulting firm.

Jeanette received a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics from Brown University. She also has a certificate in Professional Project Management through PMTraining and is a member of the Women In Technology (WIT) Network.
