Prior to joining Segal, Robert was a Vice President and Actuary for The Standard, an insurance and financial company, where he developed and implemented business strategy, managed the defined benefits business, provided actuarial consulting to single-employer plans and led the development of data-driven, decision-making tools. Previously, Robert was a consulting actuary with Venuti & Associates, Rael & Letson, Mercerv and Milliman.
Robert earned a BS in Economics from Portland State University (Portland, OR). He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary.
