Mark is a Senior Vice President, Insurance Consultant for Segal’s insurance brokerage practice, based in the New York office. He has 30 years of insurance industry experience in management, business development, strategic business planning and underwriting commercial insurance for public and private organizations.
Mark is the East Regional leader for the insurance brokerage practice, responsible for the management and oversight of the East Region brokerage team, including consulting, brokerage placement and overall regional client management.
Prior to joining Segal, Mark was the Director of Underwriting at Encore Fiduciary, a management liability insurance Managing General Agent. In this role, he was responsible for executing a national management liability strategy in the commercial private and nonprofit sectors, product development, designing and leading underwriting training sessions, and managing key external stakeholder relationships. Previously, Mark was Vice President and East Management Liability Team Leader at ArgoPro, part of the Argo Group, which underwrites specialty property and casualty insurance products. At Argo, he was responsible for management of liability strategic initiatives, business development, P&L and leading a diverse team throughout the Northeastern and Southeastern U.S. Before joining Argo, Mark was Vice President and Team Leader at NFP Corporation, insurance brokers. Earlier in his career, he worked at Chubb for more than 20 years in various underwriting and leadership roles.
