Mr. LoCicero is Chairman, former President and CEO of The Segal Group and a member of Segal’s Board of Directors since 2005.

Mr. LoCicero has worked extensively in all of the markets in which Segal provides consulting guidance as an actuarial and employee benefits consultant. He is a recognized expert on multiemployer pension issues.

Mr. LoCicero previously served as President, CEO and Chairman of another major actuarial and human resources consulting firm.

Mr. LoCicero received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Hunter College and his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School. He is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary. He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York.

Mr. LoCicero is a member of the Working Committee of the National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans (NCCMP). In 2018, he received the 18th Annual John L. Lewis Award for his achievements and contributions to the multiemployer community.

Mr. LoCicero previously served on the Pension Committee of the Academy of Actuaries and as the Co-Chairman of its Sub-Committee on Multiemployer Plans. He is a former Board Member of the Employee Benefits Research Institute (EBRI), was designated a “Superstar” in the Human Resources field by HRO magazine and is a recipient of the “Good Neighbor” award from Howard University. Mr. LoCicero was a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Labor College from 2011 to 2014.

Mr. LoCicero has had the opportunity to speak before several groups on the subject of benefits, including the American Academy of Actuaries, the National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, the Society for Human Resources Management, Made in America, New York Law School and Howard University.
