Margaret is a Vice President and Benefits Consultant, affiliated with Segal’s Chicago office. She has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her consulting areas of expertise include relationship management, new business development, performance optimization, risk management and strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Segal, Margaret was Senior Vice President, Client Relations at LaborFirst, a retiree healthcare navigation and advocacy provider. At LaborFirst, she worked with consultants, labor and trust leaders, and insurers on Medicare products and renewal negotiations. Previously, she was the Account Management Executive, Sales for the Midwest at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Missouri, where she managed labor and trust accounts with nationwide scale, sold specialty healthcare services to those accounts and obtained new clients. Margaret has also worked for two providers of medical bill review services (Alpha Review Corporation and FAIRPAY Solutions) and two pharmacy benefit managers (First Script/Coventry and PMSI-Tmesys).
Margaret holds a BA in Communication from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and an MBA from Fontbonne University (Clayton, MO).
