Bennett is a Senior Actuarial Associate, based in Segal’s New York office. He serves as an analyst on client teams for a variety of projects in the corporate retirement sector, including single-employer pension valuations (under ERISA and PPA as well as CAS, FAS and IAS pension accounting), single-employer retiree health valuations, retirement plan non-discrimination testing, retirement plan experience studies and ad-hoc special projects.

In addition, Bennett is the Corporate Market Financial Security Solution Leader and a member of the Corporate Market Retirement Plan Strategy & Design Solution team. These solutions leverage organizations’ business imperatives and employee data analytics to inform holistic financial security and retirement benefits strategy, respectively.

Before joining Segal in 2018, Bennett completed an internship in pension administration. He has served as the Project Manager for the Council on Employee Benefits’ Annual Conference Workshop Committee since 2018.

In 2018 and 2021, Bennett received the firm’s One-Company Award, which recognizes individuals who serve as a visible role model for collaboration and client focus that spans all business units, markets or practices.

Bennett earned a BS in Mathematics at Northeastern University. He is working towards an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation from the Society of Actuaries (SOA).
