Eileen is a Senior Vice President in Segal's New York office with over 30 years of experience working with employee benefit plans. She has special expertise in assisting clients with developing healthcare cost containment strategies, with an emphasis on pricing and plan design. As Director of Health Technical Services, she manages a health data warehouse and Segal’s analytical tools and benchmarks to measure, monitor and predict the costs of health and welfare benefit programs.

Eileen was instrumental in developing Segal's health data warehouse, SHAPE (Segal Health Analysis of Plan Experience), to enable Segal to effectively analyze key data elements and help decision-makers take action to improve plan performance. She also actively helps clients understand how to utilize data mining to determine underlying cost drivers, develop strategies for engaging participants in their own care, contain costs and improve patient outcomes.

Eileen joined Segal’s New York office in 1993 as a Health Consultant. She transferred to the National Health Services Practice in 1997 as Director of Health Technology Systems and was named a Vice President in 1999. In 2016, Eileen was promoted to Senior Vice President.

Prior to joining Segal, Eileen worked as a benefits consultant for a major accounting firm.

Eileen received a BS in Mathematics and Statistics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She also has a Life & Health Insurance License in the State of New York.

Eileen created Segal's Health Plan Trend Cost Survey in 1996, now a standard in the industry. Her other publications include TRENDS, Segal’s Survey of Dental Coverages and Segal’s Study of Multiemployer Plans Current Affordable Care Act Issues.
