Sally is a Senior Vice President, Director of Insurance Relations, and the Midwest Region Leader for Segal’s insurance brokerage practice. Based in Lansing, MI, she has nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance brokerage industry. Sally is responsible for providing brokerage placement and administrative services for property and casualty programs in all markets. This includes major financial lines: fiduciary liability, cyber liability, fidelity bonds and union liability insurance. She also leads a team of brokers assisting multiemployer and public sector insurance clients in the Midwest Region.

Prior to joining Segal, Sally owned and operated Union Services Agency (USA), which was acquired by Segal. USA specialized in fiduciary liability insurance and ERISA fidelity bonds for multiemployer benefit plans, as well as other commercial insurance coverages for unions, apprenticeships and affiliated associations. Licensed in 36 states, USA was recognized as the premier specialty brokerage in Michigan, concentrating on fiduciary liability insurance and ERISA fidelity bonds for Michigan’s construction industry unions, associations and multiemployer benefit plans.

Sally received a BA in International Relations and Spanish from Michigan State University, James Madison College, and a JD from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.

Sally is a member of the Lansing Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction, as well as several insurance industry associations and professional societies. She is also established as a frequent speaker at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Funds (IFEBP) Annual Conference, various IFEBP targeted conferences, the National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans (NCCMP), The Eastern Seaboard Apprenticeship Conference (ESAC) and National Training Institute (NTI) annual conference.

Sally’s expertise was also recognized by the Michigan Building Trades unions and construction associations where she assisted a ballot proposal committee fight the repeal of Michigan’s prevailing wage law. Ms. Corbin was also appointed by Governor Whitmer to serve on the Elevator Safety Board in Michigan in 2019.

Sally is a frequent speaker at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Funds (IFEBP) Annual Conference, various IFEBP targeted conferences, the National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans (NCCMP), the Eastern Seaboard Apprenticeship Conference (ESAC) and National Training Institute (NTI) annual conference.
