Sandy previously worked at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, where she supported its National Training and Technical Assistance Center for Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) and Facktor, a boutique healthcare consulting firm specializing in federally qualified health centers (FQHCs). Sandy previously supported research efforts at the University of Michigan School of Nursing’s Center for Advancing Research in Identity, Sexuality, & Equity (ARISE), under the direction of Dr. Jade Burns.
