How to help your people feel more connected

Segal Benz lists some helpful tips for bringing your people together, including:

  • Promote your organization’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and financial well-being resources, so your people know what emotional and financial support resources are available to them. If your organization doesn't offer these services, now is a great time to stress their importance to leadership.
  • Set up virtual coffees, lunches, and even happy hours.
  • Check in on colleagues, especially those who live alone.
  • Emphasize that it’s okay to be off the clock. For employees not used to working remotely, a healthy work/home separation is especially challenging right now.

The article goes into greater depth about the importance of making everyone feel connected during this difficult time.
