She is located in the New York office and has over 10 years of experience in benefits administration for multiemployer and public sector clients. As an expert in all technology aspects of benefits administration, Gisela is responsible for HIPAA Security and HITECH assessments, technology acquisitions, network vendor searches, website development and management of system implementations.
Prior to joining Segal, Gisela served as a Project Manager for the design, testing and installation of software systems, including pension and health benefits administration systems.
Gisela received a BA in Human Communications from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She has earned a Certification in Project Management (CPM) from New York University – School of Continuing and Professional Studies (NYU-SCPS).
Gisela is a recurring speaker at the company’s Annual Fund Administrator Seminar and the Annual ATC IT Summit, presenting topics such as HIPAA Security and HITECH.
