Senior Vice President, HR Technology and Automation Practice Leader

Mr. Eck is a Senior Vice President and Practice Leader for the firm’s Human Resources Technology & Automation organization. He focuses on assisting clients in developing strategies that utilize technology, process improvement and organization effectiveness to improve the productivity of their workforces. He works with clients on both long-term big picture HR planning as well as on day-to-day operational requirements for HR technology, administration and process improvement. Functional areas of specialization include HR, benefits, payroll and talent management administration.

Mr. Eck has nearly 30 years of experience in HR technology and automation. He joined Segal in 2001 with over 15 years of experience in process improvement and information technology, specializing in aligning administrative systems with Human Resource technologies and processes. He has expert knowledge and practice in full life-cycle program management, business process improvement, the HR vendor marketplace, development and implementation of worldwide enterprise applications and project management.

Mr. Eck has worked with many large and small-sized clients across multiple industries and disciplines. He has held various strategic and management roles including program manager for large-scale PeopleSoft and SAP deployments, data warehouse architect, data center manager and application development/product director.

Mr. Eck received a BBA in Management Systems from the University of Houston. He holds the following Professional Designations:

  • Member, International Association for Human Resources Information Management
  • Active in Society for Human Resource Management Organizations
  • Former Quality Improvement Greenbelt
  • Certified Payroll Professional
