Joseph A. LoCicero, President and CEO of The Segal Group, has announced that Daniel A. Levin has joined the firm as Senior Vice President and Health Actuary.
Mr. Levin has 20 years of experience in health care consulting, business development and as a Client Relationship Manager servicing public sector and corporate markets. He has worked for three large consulting firms, most recently with Xerox HR Consultants (formerly known as Buck Consultants). His expertise covers a range of issues affecting employer-sponsored medical, drug, disability, and paid time-off benefit programs. He has the strategic knowledge of active, non-Medicare retiree and Medicare retiree issues, and expertise in Affordable Care Act strategic analyses and modeling for employers, valuations of Other Postemployment Benefits (OPEB), and retiree health design strategy.
Dan received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of American Academy of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries and a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist.
Mr. Levin reports to Chris Heppner, Senior Vice President, and is based in Segal’s Chicago Office.
