Segal Adds Health Resource in the Midwest

NEW YORK (8/13/12) – Joseph A. LoCicero, President & CEO of The Segal Company, announced that John T. Dwyer has joined as Vice President and Health Consultant in the Midwest. In addition to working directly with clients, Mr. Dwyer is also managing the Chicago office’s Health teams.
Mr. LoCicero said, “As our clients’ interests continue to develop and focus on wellness and health care reform, we are very pleased to add another senior health consultant to our Midwest Health Practice. John’s experience in management, underwriting and consulting are extensive.”
Mr. Dwyer has 25 years of experience in the employee benefits field, most recently with Aon Hewitt in Chicago as a Senior Vice President in the Health Benefits Practice. Prior to Aon, he was a health benefits consultant for another major consulting firm and also held underwriting positions with a major insurance carrier. Mr. Dwyer holds a BBA degree in Finance from St. Xavier University in Chicago. He is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI), a member of the Life Office Management Association (LOMA) and is a licensed life and health producer in the State of Illinois.
Mr. Dwyer is working out of the Chicago office and reporting to John Gingell, Senior Vice President and Midwest Regional Leader.
