Segal Announces Expansion of National Pharmacy Benefits Practice

NEW YORK (8/4/11) – Joseph A. LoCicero, President & CEO of The Segal Company has announced an expansion of resources for the firm’s National Pharmacy Benefits Practice.

Martin P. Fornataro, PharmD has joined Segal’s National Pharmacy Benefit Practice as Vice President and West Region Pharmacy Benefit Consultant. He is working out of the San Francisco Office.

Edward A. Kaplan, Segal’s National Health Practice Leader, said that, "The addition of Dr. Fornataro to our Pharmacy Benefit Practice reflects continued commitment to help clients manage the growing complexities of pharmaceuticals, economics and clinical strategies."

Dr. Fornataro has more than 20 years experience in pharmacy benefits, most recently as a senior director for Express Scripts. He has deep expertise in client management, strategic planning, business development, product and formulary management strategies, and analysis of prescription data. Dr. Fornataro holds a BS in Microbiology/Medical Technology from San Diego State University and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy in Los Angeles.
