Segal Acquires U.S. Multiemployer Defined Benefit Plan Consulting Business from Aon Consulting, Inc.

(NEW YORK 10/12/10)- Joseph A. LoCicero, President and CEO of The Segal Company, has announced that Segal has acquired Aon Consulting's multiemployer defined benefit plan and related (SOP 92-6) consulting business in the United States. This acquisition covers about 60 defined benefit plans in a wide variety of industries located across the country. Mr. LoCicero said, "We welcome these new clients to our firm. We are confident that our deep knowledge and expertise with multiemployer plans and our extensive resources dedicated to multiemployer plans will enable us to provide them with the highest quality and most innovative services."
